Copenhagen Global A/S is a Danish company with an international focus, valuing agility, flat structure, and hands-on collaboration. We are looking for a skilled Craft Operator to operate and manage an Autonomous Underwater Vehicle (AUV). Your role will involve operating the craft, performing routine maintenance, and supporting maritime missions worldwide using this advanced underwater technology.

Key responsibilities

  • Operate the AUV safely and efficiently in various underwater conditions.
  • Conduct pre- and post-mission checks and routine maintenance on the craft and its systems.
  • Monitor AUV performance and troubleshoot minor technical issues during operations.
  • Ensure compliance with operational safety standards and company procedures.
  • Coordinate with technical and maritime teams for mission planning and execution.
  • Maintain detailed logs and reports related to AUV operations.
  • Follow health, safety, and environmental standards of Copenhagen Global.

Qualifications, skills and experience required

  • Proven experience operating underwater vehicles or remotely operated crafts (ROVs/AUVs).
  • Strong technical aptitude with knowledge of AUV systems and marine technology.
  • Hands-on, practical approach with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication skills in English.
  • Willingness to travel and work in diverse maritime environments.
  • Relevant certifications or training in marine operations or AUV handling is a plus.
