Job description


Copenhagen Global is a Danish company with an international reach, built on agility, a flat structure and hands-on execution. We are looking for a skilled Electronic Technician to join our technical team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling, testing, repairing and maintaining electronic systems and components. You will work closely with engineers and other team members to ensure all equipment functions efficiently and meets quality standards.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work with electronics, has a solid understanding of electronic theory and possesses excellent troubleshooting skills.

Key responsibilities

  • Assemble and install electronic components and systems according to technical drawings and specifications.
  • Perform routine testing and preventive maintenance on electronic equipment.
  • Diagnose faults in electrical and electronic components using test equipment.
  • Repair or replace defective parts, wiring and circuit boards.
  • Read and interpret schematics, blueprints and technical manuals.
  • Maintain accurate records of repairs, test results and inventory.
  • Collaborate with engineers to modify and improve existing systems.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and industry regulations.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to team members as needed.
  • Follow health, safety and environmental standards in all workshop activities.

Qualifications, skills and experience required

  • Minimum of 2 years experience in electronic repair, assembly, or testing (or equivalent training).
  • Strong knowledge of electronic components, circuits and testing procedures.
  • Proficiency in using diagnostic tools such as multimeters, oscilloscopes and signal generators.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
  • Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with safety regulations and ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) precautions.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Practical, hands-on approach and ability to work both independently and in teams.
  • Fluent in Danish (spoken and written), basic English communication skills.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and electrical standards.
  • Relevant certifications or licenses are a plus.
