Copenhagen Group A/S is a Danish parent company with a strong international footprint, specialising in tendering for and managing projects that provide goods and services to international organisations and national governments worldwide. The Group owns and supports several subsidiaries with shared services in areas such as facility management, logistics, procurement and specialised solutions for complex operational environments. We value agility, teamwork and a flat organisational structure, where people take initiative and work hands-on.

We are looking for a Chef to manage our internal canteen operation, providing daily breakfast and lunch for approximately 50 employees, as well as preparing ad-hoc dinners for business-related events and meetings.

The role requires a structured and quality-driven professional with a passion for good food, who thrives in a role with independent responsibility and delivers consistent, well-prepared meals in a professional working environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

The Chef will have overall responsibility for the company’s canteen and food services, including:

  • Planning, preparing and serving daily breakfast and lunch for approximately 50 employees.
  • Developing varied, healthy menus with a strong focus on quality, taste and seasonal ingredients.
  • Managing purchasing, ordering of ingredients and stock control.
  • Ensuring full compliance with food safety, hygiene and workplace regulations.
  • Maintaining a clean, organised and efficient kitchen environment.
  • Preparing ad-hoc dinners and catering for business meetings, client events and internal functions.
  • Adapting menus to accommodate special dietary requirements, allergies and preferences.
  • Continuously optimising workflows, menus and resource usage.

QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • Trained chef or equivalent relevant professional experience.
  • Experience with canteen operations, staff catering or large-scale kitchen environments is an advantage.
  • Ability to work independently and take full responsibility for kitchen operations.
  • Highly organised, quality-conscious and detail-oriented.
  • Strong collaboration skills and a service-minded approach towards colleagues and guests.
  • Flexibility with working hours when required for ad-hoc events.
  • Solid knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
  • Fluent in Danish and English.

SALARY, WORKING HOURS AND DEVELOPMENT OPPORTUNITIES

Salary will be determined based on qualifications and experience. We offer a competitive remuneration package and stable working hours with primarily daytime shifts.
